Duke Graduates!!!

Duke passed his basic obedience class today with flying colors! He preformed his Sit/Stay and even his Heel/Halt/Come perfectly. When our training class began six weeks ago, I wasn't sure just how much we would actually get from the class. But after completing the entire class, we have definitely noticed a difference in Duke's behavior... for the better! No, he is not the model dog... yet... but he is much better with his commands and even his already amazing disposition is better. With all of that said, he is only seven months old and he is doing remarkably well! His trainer, Darlene, told us many times how well he was doing considering his age and breed. She said that she has five boxers in training (in various classes) and that Duke is the best tempered one of all of them. Yeah for Duke!!! So what's next for him? Well, we would like for him to get the "Canine Good Citizen" certificate from the AKC and that requires that we complete the next class, which is "Intermediate Obedience". He did so well in the basic class that we have no doubt he will rock the intermediate one as well. Here are a few photos from today's graduation evaluation...
